Blockbuster, Live Nation Sign Exclusive Deal
Live Nation and Blockbuster Video have reached an agreement that makes the latter's nearly 500 locations an exclusive ticket outlet. The three-year contract goes into effect at the beginning of 2009, with Blockbuster offering limited early sale tickets and special concert promotions/products.According to Blockbuster's chairman and CEO, Jim Keyes, the Live Nation partnership "represents another step in [our] transformation."
