Alexandra Burke won this year's X Factor competition on Saturday, nudging a boy band (JLS) into second place and an Irish singer (Eoghan Quigg) into third. Aside from her prestigious New Year's Eve gig supporting Elton John at London's O2 Arena, Burke will release a cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" in time for Christmas and follow through with a £1million record deal in the coming year.

All three X Factor finalists performed a duet with a major music star. Beyoncé teamed up with Burke, JLS traded verses with Westlife, and Quigg paired up with Boyzone.
