Rosie Perez, Arsenio Hall Join Colorful Cast

Rosie Perez and Arsenio Hall, both who enjoyed a spurt of popularity in the late 1980s, will lend their distinct voices to characters in The Hero of Color City, an animated moral tale about a group of crayons who band together to stop an evil tyrant from trying to erase the color from their world.

Late night TV host Craig Ferguson will also voice a role in the film. Exodus Film Group, the company behind the animated feature, has entered into a publishing pact with Simon & Schuster for a series of film-related books targeted at children aged two through seven. There will, of course, be coloring books associated with the film. Magnolia Pictures expects to release Color City sometime in 2010.
