Paris Hilton's Sherman Oaks mansion was broken into early this morning, with a hooded burglar making off with around $2 million in jewelry. A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department told People.com, "At around 5 a.m. Friday, officers received a call from a security guard who reported that Paris Hilton's residence had been broken into. According to detectives, a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves forced entry through the front door, ransacked her bedroom, took unknown property and fled."

Hilton was not home at the time of the break-in.
