Warner Music Group Yanks Clips From YouTube

Warner Music Group has decided to take down all of its YouTube content, citing broken talks with the popular site.

"We are working actively to find a resolution with YouTube that would enable the return of our artists' content to the site," WMG said in a statement. "Until then, we simply cannot accept terms that fail to appropriately and fairly compensate recording artists, songwriters, labels and publishers for the value they provide."

Zing! And YouTube's response? "Sometimes, if we can't reach acceptable business terms, we must part ways with successful partners." WMG was actually one of the first major labels to join forces with YouTube. According to a Rollingstone.com report, most WMG artists (Led Zeppelin, T.I., Madonna) are still on the site despite all this breakup business.
