Bruce Springsteen Signs Wal-Mart Deal

Wal-Mart has scored an exclusive Greatest Hits CD from Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band. Set to arrive on January 13—two weeks before Springsteen's next studio record, Working on a Dream—the 12-song compilation includes such classics as "Born to Run," "Born in the U.S.A." and "Dancing in the Dark."

In other Springsteen news, the New Jersey legend made a guest appearance at the fourth Hope Concert in Red Bank, NJ, last night. According to Billboard.com, he performed "Run Run Rudolph" with Bon Jovi and five other tracks ("Merry Christmas Baby," "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town," "634-5789," "10th Avenue Freeze-Out," "Having a Party") with the night's house band.
