Cheech and Chong Animated Film on the Way

Following the success of their stand up reunion tour, stoned comedy duo Cheech & Chong are teaming up with Big Vision Entertainment and Chambers Bros. Entertainment for an animated film. The film will feature Cheech and Chong as animated characters.

The aforementioned companies have acquired the animated film rights to titles in the Cheech & Chong film library and will use famous bits to inspire Cheech and Chong's Smokin' Animated Movie. Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong are both excited to be animated, claiming that it's great to do a film where they won't even have to get out of bed to go to work, and that their stoned act is already like being animated. The animated film may be a direct-to-DVD release.
