Will star as African prince in comedy
Tracy Morgan to Live With Roommates
Funnyman and former Saturday Night Live cast member Tracy Morgan will star in and produce Freshman Roommates, a comedy for Montecito and Paramount Pictures. Morgan will produce through his Street Life company.T.J. Miller, who last starred in Cloverfield, also has a role in the film, which is inspired by e-mail scams that claim to be from a Nigerian prince who asks for help accessing his funds. The film will propose what could happen if such e-mails were actually real pleas for assistance.
Morgan will play the bratty, obnoxious son of a fallen African dictator who shows up on the door of a man who answered his e-mail while drunk. Production dates have not been released.
