Veteran Actor Pat Hingle Dies
Pat Hingle, the veteran actor who has appeared in everything from the 2006 comedy Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby to Batman, where he portrayed Commissioner Gordon, has died. Hingle was 84-years-old when he passed away last weekend at his home in Carolina Beach, North Carolina, the coastal town where he lived for more than 15 years.Hingle had been battling a myriad of health problems in recent years. His career spanned nearly six decades and he was even nominated for a Tony Award in 1958. His final movie was Talladega Nights. He is survived by his longtime wife and their five children.
