Grammy Organizers Adopt Clive Davis Party
The Recording Academy has announced a partnership with Clive Davis, linked to his longtime Grammy party. The pre-show gala will be presented on February 7 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. In past years, Davis has used his infamous event as an introduction to such future stars as Whitney Houston Alicia Keys, Jamie Foxx and Mario, as well as such Davis-related projects as Carlos Santana, Barry Manilow and Rod Stewart.In related news, the Academy will honor Davis as part of its pre-ceremony dinner and concert, a Salute to Industry Icons.
