Junior Boys Wrap Up Third Record

The Junior Boys have finished their third full-length. Due out April 7 through Domino, Begone Dull Care features eight new songs including the lead-off 12-inch/digital single "Hazel." As for the album’s name, the duo revealed the following in a press release: "The title is a referewnce to a short film by the pioneering Oscar-winning Scottish-Canadian animator and electronic composer, Norman McLaren, who was a big influence on the conception and creation of this album."

In related news, the Boys will be back in town for a North American tour in late March with Max Tundra opening. The full run of dates are to be determined, but the band has a handful of European shows confirmed for now.
