    Now that he's officially cancelled a 13-stop North American tour, Femi Kuti is reportedly recovering from a mild case of malaria. The son of Afrobeat icon Fela Kuti was supposed to play everywhere from Boston to San Diego in support of his first album in seven years, last fall's Day By Day. Among the stops was the world music festival GlobalFEST, which touched down at New York's Webster Hall on January 11.
