Metric Share Their 'Fantasies'

Metric have decided to self-release their fourth full-length, Fantasies. Due out April 14, the effort will be up for pre-orders on March 2. Anyone who goes that route will receive a free MP3 of the record's first single, "Help I'm Alive."

"We've wrestled with our situation over the course of the last three albums, trying to find the right deal," the band's manager, Mathieu Drouin, told Billboard last summer. "We found ourselves in a position where the majors were interested, but we knew we had the ability to roll the dice and do it ourselves."
