Modest Mouse Float On Without Johnny Marr

Modest Mouse has confirmed yet another U.S. tour, one that gets started on February 20 in Eugene, OR, and wraps up on March 15 in New York City. Former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr will sit this one out, though, with Jim Fairchild of Grandaddy fame stepping in as a backup guitarist. Mimicking Birds, a new signing to Glacial Place (the label of Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock), will open the entire trek.
