Valentine's Day is a Hallmark holiday, replete with cheesy greeting cards, overpriced (not to mention fattening) chocolates and flowers that die within a week. Yet, while we may not think of Valentine's Day as the most organic of celebrations, that doesn't mean we're a bunch of curmudgeons who can't appreciate a sappy or unexpected love song. In fact, we're pretty much suckers for tunes that embrace affection. We love love!
So in honor of February 14, we've assembled a collection of unlikely love songs, complete with commentary from the bands that "heart" these tunes. These songs each struck a chord and tugged at our heartstrings in one way or another.
