Camera Obscura Complete 4AD Debut

Camera Obscura has revealed the details behind their fourth full-length—and first for 4AD—My Maudlin Career. Due out April 21, it features the production of Jari Haapalaninen (Peter Bjorn & John, The Concretes) and a "brutal," "quite dark" sound. At least according to a press release statement from singer Tracyanne Campbell. Make up your own mind by listening to the title track at www.camera-obscura.net.

In related news, Camera Obscura has confirmed a brief tour in March and April, including stops at South by Southwest and the Bell House in Brooklyn.
