Ernest Hemingway Biopic Taking Shape

A biopic about late author Ernest Hemingway is slowly but surely taking shape. The Gotham Group has optioned the rights to Papa Hemingway: A Personal Memoir, a best-seller penned by A.E. Hotchner. The book examines the final decade-and-a-half of the Pulitzer Prize winner's life before he committed suicide via a self-inflicted shotgun blast in 1962. Hemingway and Hotchner were close friends. Producer Kevin Fortuna of Gotham Group is also developing a documentary about Hotchner himself.
