Rapster Records, a label known for compiling the source material of samples by acts like Daft Punk, has announced a collection of J Dilla (a.k.a. Jay Dee) productions just a week after the third anniversary of his death. Dillanthology, Volume 1 includes classic cuts for The Pharcyde (“Runnin’”), Common (“The Light”), De La Soul (“Stakes Is High”), Erykah Badu (“Didn’t Cha Know”), and seven others.
