Depeche Mode, Jane's Addiction reportedly among headliners
Lollapalooza Rumors Run Rampant
The Chicago Tribune has quoted several music industry sources as saying that Depeche Mode, The Beastie Boys and the original lineup of Jane's Addiction will headline Lollapalooza this summer. The festival's promoters haven't confirmed anything yet beyond its dates (August 7-9) and location (Chicago's Grant Park).While Depeche Mode has never played Lollapalooza before, the Beastie Boys performed in 1994 and Jane's Addiction—the band of festival founder Perry Farrell—appeared on the first Lollapalooza tour in 1991.
