Hayden Panettiere,
Alfred Molina, and Lauren Bacall will star together in Carmel, an indie drama about the complex world of art forgery.
Josh Hutcherson will also appear in the film, which began shooting in Carmel, California earlier this month. The plot centers on a 16-year-old who takes up with the wrong crowd and gets swept up into the secret world of art forgery. A local artist who spent her career in a Carmel artistic colony befriends the boy during his exploits. Lawrence Roake will direct.
