Edgy ingenue Thora Birch and Taylor Momsen, who has shot to fame thanks to her role in TV's Gossip Girl, will star together in Cavegirl, a feature adaptation of the BBC series of the same name. Danny Peacock, who wrote and directed two seasons of the show, will make his feature debut with the film.
Peacock will shoot the action-comedy in South Africa in April. It centers on common teenage problems, but is set in the stone age. Jacob Zachar is also negotiating to take a role in the film.
