Ian Brown Rep Denies Stone Roses Reunion

A spokeswoman for Ian Brown has denied tabloid reports of an impending Stone Roses reunion. The Daily Mirror claimed the band—which broke up in late 1996—would play at least 21 shows in the UK and a handful of U.S. dates. Of course, Brown also said “not in the next three lifetimes” when the former Stone Roses frontman was asked about the likelihood of getting back together last year.

While the Stone Roses’ classic self-titled debut is being reissued to celebrate its 20th anniversary this summer, Brown is currently prepping a solo record for release later this year.
