While they're currently busy with a Beacon Theatre residency in New York City, the Allman Brothers have announced a west coast run of tour dates that get started with a two-night stand in Oakland on May 12-13. The band's 40th anniversary trek will also hit the Mountain Jam Festival in Hunter, NY, on May 31, and the Wanee Festival in Live Oak, FL, on June 5-6. The Doobie Brothers will also play most of the Allmans' west coast shows.
