CartNew J Dilla Disc Due Out In June

Jay $tay Paid, a collection of 25 posthumous J Dilla productions, has been set for a June 2 release through Nature Sounds. While DOOM, Raekwon and Black Thought of The Roots all make guest appearances, Pete Rock arranged and mixed the entire album.
"It wasn't rushed, and it wasn't haphazard," Dilla's mom, Maureen Yancey, said in a statement. "This album combines what he did in the beginning of his career, what he did in some of our early hospital stays, which was very deep, and some stuff pulled from old floppy disks & DATs. It's mind blowing...this is like the missing links to Dilla's legacy."
