CartWilliam Hurt Heads to the Hood

William Hurt is the latest in a long line of A-listers attached to the currently untitled Robin Hood project directed by Ridley Scott and starring Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett.
Hurt will play William Marshall, the Earl of Pembroke, a historical figure who was one of the most powerful men in Europe. He was known for his jousting abilities.
The movie is currently shooting in the UK, and Universal will release the picture in 2010. The film was formerly titled Nottingham.
