Their latest LP, Beacons of Ancestorship, is still more than a month away (June 23, to be exact) from release through Thrill Jockey, but that hasn’t kept Tortoise from unleashing one of the album’s songs. As heard on Pitchfork.com, “Prepare Your Coffin” is post-rock with some bite. Which is exactly what you should expect on the band’s short summer tour. The worldwide trek gets started on May 29 in Buffalo and winds down on July 24 in Japan.
