    Paula Abdul has revealed some details behind a 12-year addiction to painkillers. Speaking to Ladies Home Journal in the magazine’s June issue, the American Idol judge says she kicked the habit last Thanksgiving while at a resort/spa in Carlsbad, CA. Chronic pain from a series of accidents apparently caused Abdul to start taking pills, but her spokesman, Jeff Ballard, has said that she has “moved forward in her life” since then.
