New Jersey Promoter Threatens Lawsuit Against Michael Jackson

AllGood Entertainment, a New Jersey-based concert promoter headed by Patrick Allocco, has told TicketNews that they will sue Michael Jackson in the coming week if he can't reach a settlement regarding the pop star's reunion with the Jackson 5. According to Allocco, his company had to push a one-time Jackson 5 show from this summer to next year due to Jackson's 02 Arena residency in London. Beyond that, he claims Jackson's been unreachable as AllGood struggles to finalize the details of their event.
"Unless someone steps forward to resolve this," Allocco said, "We will take it to court."
A non-competition clause in AllGood's contract with the Jacksons states that they may not perform any shows prior to—or three months after—the Jackson 5 show. Michael Jackson's manager, Frank Dileo, reportedly signed the document on behalf of the group.
