Steve Earle Extends ‘Townes’ Tour

Steve Earle’s previously announced summer tour has been extended into August, with one random gig also happening on September 6 in Westhampton, NY. Earle released his Townes Van Zandt tribute, Townes, on May 12 through New West Records.

"This may be one of the best records I've ever made," Earle said in a press release. "That hurts a singer/songwriter's feelings. Then again, it's some consolation that I cherry picked through the career of one of the best songwriters that ever lived."
