Atlantic Taps Justice, Cee-Lo For Elektra Relaunch
Fueled By Ramen's founder (John Janick) and Atlantic's executive vice president of A&R (Mike Caren) have agreed to help relaunch Elektra Records this year. While it hasn't been active since 2004, the label will release Little Boots' U.S. debut, the Illuminations EP, on June 9, and new records from Cee-Lo and Justice sometime in the coming year."We are planning on building an eclectic brand," Janick told Billboard.com. "We're looking for artists with potential. We're not an incubator label; we're going to develop artists and get them to the next level."
