Interview: Bow Wow, Brandon T. Jackson and Naturi Naughton of "Lottery Ticket"

Lottery Ticket wins on so many levels.
It's extremely funny, but it's also got an important message at its core. Of course hitting the lottery is awesome for Bow Wow's Kevin Carson, but it also turns into the craziest and most difficult time of his life.
"You've got to know who to trust. You've got to make sure you have the most loyal people around you," says Bow Wow about the double-edged sword that is hitting it big.
However, Lottery Ticket does remind him of one particular song. "Since you'd be 'Ballin'', it'd be 'We Fly High' by Jim Jones," he laughs. "That's what I think of when I think of Lottery Ticket. We've got the helicopter in there. It's got us shopping in the mall. We're doing a whole bunch of stuff in this movie spending all that money!"
At the same time, his co-star Brandon T. Jackson—Benny—likens the movie to another tune. He adds, "I like the song Bow Wow and Sean Kingston did for the soundtrack, 'Put that on My Hood.' It's like a theme song for the hood. It made the movie feel good!"
"Put that on My Hood" is the perfect anthem for any neighborhood across the globe, and Bow Wow manages to encapsulate the film's vibe sonically on the song with Sean Kingston. There was a lot of great music bumping on set as well.
"I was listening to Maxwell on set," exclaims Naturi Naughton [Stacie]. "I was spinning to a lot of other hip hop and R&B, but just music to keep my momentum going."
Everyone in the film taps into a similar rhythm and momentum, and that's what makes Lottery Ticket so funny and real. ARTISTdirect.com editor and Dolor author Rick Florino sat down with Bow Wow, Brandon T. Jackson, Naturi Naughton, Terry Crews and Ice Cube for an exclusive interview about Lottery Ticket. The cast talks about what they'd listen to if they won the lottery, some hilarious moments, their playlists and so much more in this exclusive interview.
