Southern California's female fronted hard rockers, In This Moment, have entered the Top 40 of the Active Rock chart with their single "The Promise" off of their latest release, A Star Crossed Wasteland. With the single continuing to climb, this is the highest chart position to date for the band with "The Promise" hanging out on the charts longer than any of In This Moment's previous singles. The band is currently tearing up the stage alongside Disturbed, Korn and Sevendust on the Monster Energy Music as a Weapon Tour.

"The Promise" video has racked up over 330,000 plays on YouTube, so the song is connecting with the kids.

Congrats to the band, which ARTISTdirect.com editor Rick Florino and I first saw in LA in 2005. We were having salads with braised rib, pork shoulder, extra-calorie ranch dressing, chocolate-covered bacon bits and a fountain soda beforehand and then we went and saw the band with full stomachs.
