Black Veil Brides are "Best New Band" nominees for the Revolver Golden Gods Awards. Fans can vote here and announced that they will perform at at the 2011 Revolver Golden Gods Awards Show at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on April 20th. The show will be broadcast on Vh1 Classic on May 28th.

"We are so happy to be nominated for best new band at this year's Golden Gods awards, we all grew up reading Revolver and seeing bands like Motley, Wasp, Kiss, etc. and now it's time for the BVB Army to take the torch! This award will be one more huge notch on our studded leather belts," said lead singer Andy Six in a statement. Andy Six should be Andy Sixx since the BVB are very Mötley Crüe-like.

In addition, this spring, the Black Veil Brides will headline the fifth annual The AP Tour 2011. Alternative Press, the Cleveland-based youth-culture magazine, handpicked the line-up which also feature co-headliners Destory Rebuild Until God Shows as well as I See Stars, VersaEmerge and Conditions. The tour kicks off on March 18th in Dallas, TX and runs through May 6th with a closing show in AP's hometown of Cleveland. In addition, the band will also be playing at The Bamboozle 2011 festival in East Rutherford, NJ on Sunday, May 1st.

Until the tour kicks off, Black Veil Brides are in the studio working on the follow-up to their chart topping debut album, We Stitch These Wounds.

Are you going to vote for Black Veil Brides?
