Super group alert!
'90s alt rock musicians Jack Irons of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Greg Richling of The Wallflowers fame and Alain Johannes of Queens of the Stone Age and Them Crooked Vultures fame have recruited vocalist Jonathan Greene for a new project called Arthur Channel! What a pedigree, right?
The band's first single is "Vapor" and it is available at iTunes now. Try before you buy by listening to it at the band's website, which is here and below via the Soundcloud player. We love the dreamy, super emotive vocals and the tense riffery, and that bluesy vibe that escalates from the first 30 seconds.

The band will issue a full album in 2012.
