'70s Smash Hits, Vol. 5

Lyrics from '70s Smash Hits, Vol. 5
All Music Guide Review
Rhino's '70s Smash Hits series condenses two of the label's more popular, extensive, and best series -- Soul Hits of the '70s: Didn't It Blow Your Mind and Super Hits of the '70s: Have a Nice Day -- down to six discs. Though each volume of '70s Smash Hits includes only ten songs, they make for a decent alternative for more casual music fans who are on a budget. The fifth volume of the series includes Tommy James' "Draggin' the Line," the Persuaders' "Thin Line Between Love and Hate," the Chi-Lites' "Have You Seen Her," Dennis Coffey & the Detroit Guitar Band's "Scorpio," and the Undisputed Truth's "Smiling Faces Sometimes." ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
