To support the release of Machine Head's second full-length effort, The More Things Change, in 1997 Roadrunner would release this 4 track, Euro-only digi-pack CD-5 which features "Take my Scars" and an enjoyable run through Nirvana's "Negative Creep." In addition, the CD-5 also includes demo versions of the colossal "Ten Ton Hammer" and "Struck a Nerve." These last two songs in particular sound absolutely riveting in their four-track demo versions. It's amazing to hear just how good this band had become after only two records. ~ John Franck, All Music Guide
