The original score to Jackie Chan's kung-fu western comedy Shanghai Noon was composed by Randy Edelman, who also composed the scores to The Whole Nine Yards and The Last of the Mohicans. Here, Edelman blends elements of traditional, rousing western music with Eastern-influenced arrangements and melodies. An apt, well-crafted soundtrack for one of 2000's most anticipated summer movies. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
