Enjoyable recording on which Frank Wess sticks to flute, accompanied primarily by cohorts from the Count Basie band. Wess' playing is superb, while the guitar solos of then-newcomer Kenny Burrell shine brightly above the solid accompaniment of the swinging rhythm section.
