    Donnie Iris is a pretty good tunesmith and a great screamer. Recorded in 1997, Live! At Nick's Fat City includes Iris' early-'80s hits "Love Is Like a Rock" and "Ah! Leah!." Also included is "The Rapper," Iris' hit with the Jaggerz, and a version of the overdone "Minnie the Moocher" that strangely borrows heavily from Joe Walsh's "Rocky Mountain Way." However, missing from this live collection are the hits "My Girl" and "Sweet Merrilee." Nevertheless, this is a decent live collection. ~ Tim Griggs, All Music Guide
