Autechre

The second EP from a session with John Peel includes four tracks of the computer geek, point and click instrumental programming that the duo known as Autechre have built their name on. Clicks, sqwerks, squelches, and, of course, drum'n'bass collide in deconstructed noise assemblages. Gaekwad finds them almost teetering off into the field of noise, straying away from perfect lineage of composition and into more avant-garde forms, but still retaining perfect mathematical order. ~ Blake Butler, All Music Guide
