Chi Sound Records originally issued this set of songs in 1977. (It was Walter Jackson's second and final LP for the label.) Because of digital remastering and the CD format, this reissue sounds better than ever. It features Jackson's update of "It's All Over," which he first recorded on Okeh Records, and his take of Joe Cobb and Van McCoy's "Stay Awhile With Me." Jackson's rendition of Aretha Franklin's "(Gotta Find Me An) Angel," written by Carolyn Franklin (her sister) and Sonny Sanders, is as heartwarming as the original. Bobby Miller, noted for his Dells productions, wrote and produced the title track of this well-rounded albeit brief (ten songs) collection that showcases Walter Jackson's inimitable baritone. ~ Andrew Hamilton, All Music Guide
