Pizzicato Five's first collection of remixes, covering songs from their past three albums. As with most remix collections, it's hit or miss, mostly depending what the individual listener looks for in a remix. Towa Tei sticks close to the original arrangement of "Catchy," but fleshes it out, whereas Saint Etienne keep a vocal sample from "Peace Music" and throws away everything else. Likewise, Denki Groove's Takkyu Ishino, whose "Twiggy Twiggy" remix is a pure acid house workout, with the title popping up six minutes into the track. "Flower Drum Song" gets even spacier under Satoshi Tomiie, and Chapter & the Verse probably do the best out of the rest in balancing original arrangement with their own particular stamp. ~ Ted Mills, All Music Guide
