    As a precursor single to 1992's YMO remix album, Hi-Tech/No Crime, this 13-minute megamix by producer and engineer Pete Lorimar appeared as one in a series of "In the '90s" maxi-singles (compiled on Sumo Stomp). Lorimar builds a bed of techno-house and JB's breakbeats over which he drops in serious fragments of such YMO hits as "Firecracker," "Behind the Mask," and "Cosmic Surfer," letting "Behind the Mask"'s bassline ride throughout. Topped off with a rousing sax solo by Mornington Lockett, this is way more than just a recycling of their songs (see the unadventurous YMO Mega Mix from several months earlier). This remix later turned up on Kyoretsu na Rhythm. Recommended. ~ Ted Mills, All Music Guide
