    All Music Guide Review

Sony Music Special Products' Hits of 1995 is a ten-song collection of songs that is as schizophrenic as they come, with songs as diverse as Dionne Farris's "I Know," Firehouse's "I Live My Life for You," and the grunge lite of Sponge's "Molly (Sixteen Candles)" bumping uneasily against each other. Throw in the pop-rap dance of a past-their-sell-by-date Kris Kross and lots of slick R&B from the likes of Xscape and Brownstone, and you've got a disc that captures a decent portion of the year 1995. Still, since it lacks the biggest hits of the year and is so scattershot (not to mention too brief), the disc isn't of much value. ~ Tim Sendra, All Music Guide
