This compilation gets a high mark for the rarity of many of the selections, including "Lonely Rain" by the Mascots (later known as the O'Jays), released by King Records in 1961. Other obscurities include the Globetrotters' "Rainy Day Bells" and "Rain," "Another Rainy Day" by the Jive Five, Dee Clark's "Raindrops," "It Had to Rain" by the Catalina Six, and Eddie Delmar's "Garden in the Rain." Get the picture? Every song has rain or a form of the word in the title except "Drip Drop" by the Dodgers, "Cloudburst" by the Orlandos, and the Videos' "Trickle, Trickle." ~ Andrew Hamilton, All Music Guide
