    This compilation from reissue label Sequel, an imprint of U.K. giant Sanctuary, relies heavily on the soul, funk, and disco-infused sounds of the '70s. Familiar cuts from Curtis Mayfield ("Superfly"), Lakeside ("Fantastic Voyage"), and Sugarhill Gang ("8th Wonder") will appeal to most audiences, but this is a decidedly British radio affair that finds Gene Pitney and Sandie Shaw sharing the dancefloor with Shalamar and Chairman of the Board.
