K.C. & the Sunshine Band's VH1 Behind the Music is essentially a greatest-hits collection containing all of their biggest singles, including "Get Down Tonight," "That's the Way (I Like It)," "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty," "Boogie Shoes," "I'm Your Boogie Man," and "Please Don't Go." There are a lot of other songs outside of these tunes, and there may be a song or two missing (most regrettably K.C.'s solo smash "Give It Up," but this is a band collection, not a solo disc), but this still will satisfy almost any casual fan. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
