All Music Guide Review

Charnett Moffett features his overdubbed piccolo bass guitar throughout this disc (doing his best imitation of a guitar) as virtually the only lead and solo voice over an electronic background that also includes his funky electric bass and Kenny Kirkland's synthesizer. The music is danceable and reasonably creative within its limits (the grooves are certainly likable), but this set will be of much more interest to funk fans than to jazz collectors. ~ Scott Yanow, All Music Guide
