Nayobe's most recent attempt to find her niche as a lead vocalist came when she got several top producers, including Teddy Riley, for a 1990 album on the CBS-distributed label Wig. She did a decent version of "I'll Be Around," but this time got sabotaged by the rotating producers. Each one put their stamp on the music and inserted Nayobe's vocals, rather than trying to find a compatible style. She again ended up displaying versatility but no style or individualized direction. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide
