    Picking up where the first Nuggets CD left off, More Nuggets contains 18 wonderfully raw garage-rockers, which are intercut with some trippy psychedelia and folk-rock. The selection on More Nuggets is a little more unpredictable than on its predecessor, since it doesn't just feature hits like "Liar Liar," "I Wonder What She's Doing Tonight," "Talk Talk," "(We Ain't Got) Nothin' Yet," "Western Union," and "The Little Black Egg," but also cult classics from the likes of the Merry-Go-Round ("Live," "You're a Very Lovely Woman"), Captain Beefheart ("Diddy Wah Diddy"), the Chocolate Watchband ("Are You Gonna Be There [At the Love-In]?," "Sweet Young Thing"), the Left Banke ("Desiree"), the Standells ("Sometimes Good Guys Don't Wear White"), and Mouse & the Traps ("A Public Execution"). ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
